Caroline (Carrie) Keating, professor of psychological and brain sciences, has been selected as the 2024 recipient of the Jerome Balmuth Award for Teaching.

Jonathan Eaton ’24 of Bethel, Conn., is the recipient of the �󷢲�Ʊ Alumni Corporation 1819 Award.

�󷢲�Ʊ’s Board of Trustees has selected Thomas “Toby” S. Bozzuto Jr. ’96, president and chief executive officer of the Bozzuto Group, as its next chair.

Assistant Professor of Educational Studies Brenda Sanya has been awarded a fellowship by the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program.

�󷢲�Ʊ broke ground Friday, Sept. 30, to celebrate the start of construction on the Benton Center for Creativity and Innovation, an anchor of the new Middle Campus, made possible through a $25 million gift from Daniel C. Benton ’80, H’10, P’10.

�󷢲�Ʊ welcomed the Class of 2026 to campus on Sunday, Aug. 21. With 817 members, this is the most selective and academically accomplished class in the history of the institution — formed from the largest applicant pool ever seen by the University.

�󷢲�Ʊ welcomed alumni for two reunion weekends this month, reviving the tradition last enjoyed on campus during the Bicentennial Reunion of 2019.
